Today was fearsomely, hellishly hot. The heat throughout the day was relentless and it has continued long into this night. My smallest lies sleeping on my lap with fat beads of sweat cooling his downy head. My eldest (3 in just 4 days!!) sleeps the deep sleep of one who has paddled naked at the ocean's edge into the evening.
Thank the Gods we live moments from the ocean....
